Scope and Contents This series contains records for mother's pension hearings from 1920-1940; coroner's inquests and death forms from 1885-1968; and records from hearings to determine insanity or feeblemindedness from 1881-1960. Coroner's inquests contain a finalized coroner’s report, interviews conducted and some folders contain photographs, some of which are graphic. Insanity records include testimony from neighbors and relatives, medical evaluations, correspondence, warrants, and final determinations.
