This series contains planning files from the Black Hills Conservancy Subdistrict from 1965 through 1984. The majority of records pertain to water management, water plans and water quality but there are also sinkhole, agriculture, dredging, pollution and more administrative records such as contract, proposals and facilities. This series contains records pertaining to the State of South Dakota’s applications for Federal Grant 208, during the 1970s and 1980s. The grant was obtained to provide funds for a number of different water quality and water way projects including those occurring within the Lake County Conservation District.
