Scope and Contents This series contains glass plate negatives of aerial photographs taken during 1973. Images are stereo pairs which were used to estimate elevations for the old Keystone road reconstruction project. The old Keystone road, which is now Highway 40, ran from Keystone to Red Shirt, S.D. Scope and Contents This series consists of one copy of the “Report Documenting the History of the Crow Creek Dam Project,” which was prepared for the South Dakota State Historic Preservation Office by the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe and the Bureau of Indian Affairs in 1995. The report contains a narrative history of the project; safety investigations and the decision to remove the dam; copies of correspondence, newsletters, and photographs; and project plan sheets.

Dams and Becker-Hansen Building Photographs, Undated

Scope and Contents This series contains four large matted photographs of South Dakota Dams and the Becker-Hansen Building. The dams depicted are Ft. Randall Dam, Gavins Point Dam, and Big Bend Dam. The Dam photographs are in color and appear to be aerial photographs. The fourth picture is a black and white photograph of the Becker-Hansen building, taken presumably from a sidewalk on the side of the building facing the water. The building appears to read South Dakota Commission of Highways.
