This accession consists of one DVD containing South Dakota Public Broadcasting’s coverage of the 2011 inaugural ceremonies and grand march for Governor Dennis Daugaard. (Duration - 1:58:58)
This series contains a DVD copy of Episode #1704 of the South Dakota Public Broadcasting program “Dakota Life,” which aired in January 2015. This episode features digitization projects throughout the state, including the State Archives. Contents of DVD have been added to the Archives Digital Collections for preservation purposes (2104 MB)
This series consists of 13 DVDs and one Mini DV cassette containing video footage of the State Historical Society’s annual history conference from 2006. The conference theme was “Desperate Times and Lasting Legacies: The New Deal Era in South Dakota.” It was held at the Best Western Ramkota in Pierre on March 31st and April 1st of 2006.
This series consists of three DVDs containing the speeches and presentations given during the South Dakota State Historical Society’s annual History Conference in 2009. The conference was organized by the South Dakota State Archives and focused on immigration topics.
This series contains the promotional brochure, program, and three DVDs for the 2010 History Conference “Prairie Politics…From Territory to Today.” Also included is a DVD containing a 3 minute video greeting from Tom Brokaw for the South Dakota State Historical Society. This video was played during the Friday (April 30th) Luncheon at the conference.
This series consists of the digital video recordings for all sessions at the State Historical Society's annual History Conference, which took place May 29-30, 2015. The 2015 History Conference, "Prairie to Pines: People and Their Environment in South Dakota," was organized by the State Historic Preservation Office, and was held at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel in Pierre. Video recordings were made by Bill Stevens.
